Yes, a ticket must be purchased to enter the festival.
Admission is free for children aged 0 to 8 years old.
A reduced ticket is available for children aged 9 to 14 years old.

Yes, children from 0 to 8 years old enter for free. Free admission is also granted to visitors with disabilities (upon presentation of valid documentation) and one accompanying caregiver. Children aged 9 to 14 are eligible for reduced pricing.

Yes, dogs are allowed provided they are kept on a leash. However, due to the large crowds and loud noises typical of the festival, it is generally discouraged for the animal’s own well-being. For medium and large-sized dogs, wearing a muzzle is mandatory.

The week of the Medieval Festival offers visitors over 300 varied performances, including armed challenges, flag-waving and drumming exhibitions, historical costume parades, falconry displays, sword duels, live medieval music, knightly tournaments, fire juggling, and firework displays. Yes, all performances and shows are fully included in the price of your general admission ticket.
The historical village begins to come alive starting at 6:30 PM.

The medieval banquet is a special event that requires reservations in advance.
Offagna is home to three museums: the Fortress Armoury (Armeria della Rocca), the Liberation of Ancona Museum (Museo della Liberazione di Ancona) and the “Luigi Paolucci” Natural Sciences Museum (Museo di Scienze Naturali “Luigi Paolucci”).

Cena Medievale – Medieval Banquet
The medieval banquet is a special event that requires reservations in advance.
Il costo di partecipazione alla cena medievale è di 90 €.
La quota comprende: cena esperienziale con spettacoli privati, ingresso alla manifestazione, ingresso gratuito a tutti i musei del borgo per il giorno dell’evento, ingresso gratuito per la serata conclusiva del 25 Luglio 2026.
Chi partecipa agli Apericena alla Rocca riceve un buono sconto di 20 € per partecipare alla cena, valido per 1 utilizzo.
Chi ha già partecipato sarà ricontattato dagli organizzatori per ricevere il buono sconto.

At the market, you can find handcrafted products such as jewelry, weapons, and accessories, alongside live demonstrations of ancient crafts.
Many market vendors accept digital payments, but it is still highly recommended to bring cash.

Yes, the festival is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Please note, however, that the upper part of the village retains its authentic medieval layout and can only be reached via a flight of stairs.
Yes, there is a Postamat ATM located in the main square (Piazza della Contesa).
Within the event area, you will find 4 local taverns (taverne rionali), a beverage station in the main square, as well as local restaurants, a pizzeria, and bars.
Yes, the taverns also feature options for various dietary requirements.
Taverna San Bernardino: Offers vegetarian, vegan, and celiac menus, along with a few lactose-free options.

Yes, a dedicated campervan parking area is located on Via Martin Luther King. It is open 24/7 and features 8 pitches equipped with fresh water loading, chemical toilet waste disposal, a waste dump station, electric hookups, and lighting. The area is completely wheelchair-accessible and dogs are welcome. Rate: €5 per day.
An additional unserviced campervan parking area is also available along Via Torre.
